Anyway, a little bit of what I have been doing nowadays.
Photography, lots and lots of them. You can probably see the transition from graphic arts to more and more photography. It is not actually my first love, I dabbled in a lot of sketching, graphic arts and even performing arts, but this is where I hope to stay, at least in the next decade.
It's such a blessing to capture moments, not just for myself, but for other people. Hence, the diversity of my photo portfolio: I shoot weddings, fashion, photojournalistic stuff, cars, food, real estate.. It's totally fun and totally relaxing for me. I'm currently working under a marketing company that has its own print end and its photography end (which explains my access to a 2,000 sqft studio [link]) and at the same time, I'm building my portfolio and refining my skills.
I've got tons to learn. But thank God, that in all this, I was able to compile some of my best work and put it up on a website, [link] which I launched last March 20, 2009 during my birthday/art exhibit. hahaha! My excuse to see all my friends before I left Philippines for Vancouver, Canada.
*can't wait to go home and shoot*
Vancouver is pretty, but nothing beats the richness of home. All the textures, all the people, all the smiles, everything is different. Especially with what happened back home a few weeks ago, I can't help but think when can I get home so I can help.
Anyway, that's all for now. Back to work
